Jewellery Making - Week 6- Friday 11th April 2014

This was the final day of the course and the children made rings, brooches and necklaces. They used a variety of resources such as buttons and bottle tops also beads and wire. I am sure you will agree they have made some beautiful pieces of jewellery that they should be proud of.

Jewellery Making - Week 5- Friday 4th April 2014

This week the children made bracelets and rings from recycled materials. Mrs Herrington had previously cut a plastic bottle into narrow circles/strips. Then the children chose their own paper to cover and decorate them. They also had a variety of resources such as glitter and stars to embellish the bracelets.

The children then made rings from old buttons and wire. They had to thread wire through two buttons and attached them together with wire.

I am sure you will agree they have done an excellent job!

Next Friday is the final day of the course!  The children will share what they have been doing with the rest of the Reception children during our 'Graduation Assembly'.

They will all be awarded with their Degree Certificate by the Head of Aire View University Mrs Bottomley!
